Abstracts should be no more than 250 words. They can take the form of either a single piece of narrative text, or can be divided into Introduction, Methods, Results, and Conclusions. One presenting author should be identified per abstract.
Work must be original and not published in a peer-reviewed journal at the time of submission - prior presentation at local meetings, or other conferences is fine. Accepted abstracts will be published in the meeting booklet, in a designated journal (Microcirculation) and on the BMVBS website unless you specifically opt out on submission.
Upon submission, you should choose your preferred presentation type. Accepted abstracts not selected for oral presentation will be considered for poster presentation.
All abstracts will be reviewed and evaluated by independent reviewers in accordance with a set scoring criteria.
